The Gardens at DePugh recently received a four-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal entity that provides funding and oversight for healthcare programs.
During the quarterly rating process, each facility undergoes an inspection of health, staffing and quality measures. The Gardens’ staff-to-resident ratio and high score on an annual relicensing survey were two of the factors contributing to its rating. Facility scores are available at www.medicare.gov.
“All of us at The Gardens are proud to be counted among the nation’s best nursing homes,” said Millie Sorger, the facility’s administrator. “This rating reflects our staff’s dedication to quality, compassionate care.”
