The Gardens at DePugh

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Gardens at DePugh, a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility, recently hired Ruth Ames as its new nursing director. In this role, she will oversee the daily operations of the nursing department.

“We are honored to have Ruth join our team,” said Mary Pitetti, executive director of The Gardens at DePugh. “Her many years of experience as a nursing director will surely add to the high quality of care our organization provides.”

Ames is a registered nurse in the state of Florida and has been in the industry for more than 10 years. She most recently served as director of nursing for the Alhambra Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Petersburg, Fla. An Orlando resident, she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida.
