Millie Sorger, Administrator of The Gardens, Joins Board of Welbourne Avenue Nursery and Kindergarten
WINTER PARK, Fla. – Millie Sorger, administrator of The Gardens at DePugh, was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Welbourne Avenue Nursery and Kindergarten in Winter Park. Sorger will assist with the facility’s governance and marketing efforts.
Welbourne Avenue Nursery and Kindergarten was established in 1927 to provide affordable, quality childcare for working families living in the Hannibal Square neighborhood of Winter Park. The facility is adjacent to The Gardens, which frequently hosts children for intergenerational activities with residents.
“Welbourne Avenue Nursery and Kindergarten shares The Garden’s mission of serving Winter Park residents with quality care, and I’m proud to join its group of dedicated staff and board members,” said Sorger.
Sorger has more than 25 years of experience with long-term care facilities. A Winter Park resident, she earned her degree in health services administration from the University of Central Florida.
